DevOps & Cloud Engineering in Adelaide

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and secure cloud migration.

DevOps & Cloud Engineering for South Australian organisations

Manual deployments, inconsistent environments and unexpected cloud bills hold teams back. Modern DevOps practices automate building, testing and releasing software. Releases become routine instead of risky, and well-architected cloud platforms give you security, resilience and cost control.

EITSAA provides DevOps and cloud engineering in Adelaide on AWS and Microsoft Azure. We design landing zones, write infrastructure as code, build CI/CD pipelines and migrate workloads securely, and we document everything so your team can own it.

We automate how your software is built, tested and deployed. Releases become routine, environments stay consistent and cloud bills stay predictable.

What's included

  • Cloud architecture on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, Bicep)
  • CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
  • Containers and serverless (ECS, EKS, Lambda, Container Apps)
  • Cost optimisation and Essential Eight-aligned hardening

How we can help

Cloud landing zones

Secure multi-account or multi-subscription foundations with identity, logging, guardrails and network design.

Infrastructure as code

Repeatable environments built with Terraform, AWS CDK or Bicep, peer-reviewed and version-controlled.

CI/CD pipelines

Automated build, test, security scan and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Cloud migration

Assess, plan and migrate applications to AWS or Azure using rehost, re-platform or refactor strategies.

FinOps and optimisation

Tagging, budgets and anomaly alerts, rightsizing, non-production scheduling and savings plans, with a monthly cost report for each system.

Why choose an Adelaide partner?

Working with a local team means face-to-face workshops, an understanding of South Australian regulatory and procurement requirements, and support in your time zone. Engaging EITSAA also keeps investment and jobs in South Australia, which counts under the SA Industry Participation Policy in government tenders.

Outcomes you can expect

Every DevOps & Cloud Engineering engagement starts with outcomes we agree on, not just a list of features. Before we begin, we set measures such as hours saved, faster turnaround, higher customer satisfaction, lower operating cost or reduced risk. We report against them throughout delivery. You get a fortnightly demonstration of working software, a transparent backlog, and a named Adelaide-based lead who is accountable for progress.

When the work is done, you keep the capability. Documentation, source code, infrastructure definitions and runbooks are handed over in full, and knowledge-transfer sessions give your team the confidence to run and extend what we have built.

Security, privacy and compliance

Security and privacy are designed in from the first workshop. Our DevOps & Cloud Engineering solutions follow the principle of least privilege, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and can be hosted in Australian cloud regions to meet data sovereignty requirements. We align with the ACSC Essential Eight, the Australian Privacy Principles and, for public sector clients, the SA Government Information Security Management Framework.

For regulated or sensitive work, we can complete privacy impact assessments, provide security documentation for your risk team, and support independent penetration testing before go-live.

Frequently asked questions

AWS or Azure?

Both are excellent. We recommend based on your existing licensing, skills and workloads, and many organisations sensibly use both.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Often. A fixed-price cost review checks idle and oversized resources, orphaned storage, logging and missing commitment discounts, then sets up budgets and anomaly alerts so surprises are caught in days, not at month end. We do not trade away Australian data residency, backups or security logging to save money.

Do you align with Essential Eight?

Yes. Our cloud designs support Essential Eight controls such as patching, MFA, application control and backups.

Will our team be able to maintain it?

Yes. Everything is defined in code and documented, and we include knowledge-transfer sessions.
