What we collect

We collect the details you give us through our contact form, by phone or in meetings: your name, email, phone number, organisation and message. Our website may also collect anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed.

How we use it

We use it to respond to enquiries, provide services, meet legal obligations and improve our website. We do not sell personal information.

Voice assistant

The optional voice assistant can listen and speak in two ways. Where our speech service is switched on, your audio is sent securely to Amazon Web Services in Sydney (Amazon Transcribe) to turn it into text, and replies are read aloud with Amazon Polly. The audio is not stored. Otherwise it uses your browser's own speech recognition and speech output, and in some browsers, such as Chrome and Edge, the browser sends your audio to its own provider to turn it into text. EITSAA does not record or keep audio. We receive only the text of what you say or type, and your contact details only if you choose to be contacted and agree to it. If you do, the full text of the conversation (your own words and the assistant's replies, with any turn our safeguards declined shown as removed) and the name you gave is included in the email we receive, and the assistant asks you to agree, by voice or on screen, before anything is sent. It is not stored in a database, and we do not log it.

Third parties

Contact form submissions are processed by our form provider and email service, and may be stored by cloud providers including Amazon Web Services. Some providers may store data outside Australia.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
